Canada immigrations issues another Invitation to Apply to 500 aplicants under the Federal Skill Trades Program. This was second program specific draw of 2019 which saw Minimum Comprehensive Score of 357, 25 points higher compared to previous draw held in May, 2019
Program specific draw is desgined to give candidates with specific skill set to qualify for general draw, who normally would not have qualified for general draws.
So far, Immigration, refugees & Citizenship Canada has invited 67,800 candidates in 2019, against the high-skilled immigration admission target set for 81,400. IRCC broke this record in 2018 by issuing 89,800 last year.
The draw saw the tie-breaking rule implemented on March 4, 2019. It means if more than one candidate had the minimum CRS; one who submitted EE profile before this date & time, received invitation.
